Martin Culpepper is a 21-year-old photographer based in northern Massachusetts, with a deep passion for capturing the beauty of wildlife through his lens. Specializing in wildlife photography, Martin has spent the last ten years honing his craft, traveling across North America to document the diverse and awe-inspiring creatures that inhabit this continent.

From the rugged landscapes of the Arctic to the lush forests of the Northeast, Martin’s work reflects his dedication to portraying wildlife in their natural environments. His keen eye for detail, patience, and respect for nature allow him to capture intimate, powerful moments that showcase the magnificence of animals in the wild.

Martin continues to push the boundaries of his craft, constantly seeking new challenges and opportunities to share his passion for wildlife with the world. Through his photography, he aims to inspire others to appreciate and protect the natural world.

Description: Owls are one of the most mysterious and sought after subjects for both birders and wildlife photographers alike. Their often nocturnal and secretive nature makes them harder to locate and photograph than almost any other group of avian subjects. This program will be focused on how you can effectively and ethically photograph these wonderful animals and produce high-quality photographs of them, along with how to find some specific species to get you started.​

It will cover how to leverage lighting, perspective, situational awareness, and many other things to allow for creating high quality engaging frames with intentionality, as opposed to letting the wildlife control the whole situation.

Description: As photographers, editing is an integral part of our workflow. Being able to edit a file adequately can be the deciding factor between having an ok image, or having an incredible piece of art. However, these editing softwares are often complex. This talk will cover the fundamentals for how to use Lightroom as a photographer. It will cover global adjustments, color editing techniques, local adjustments through masking, and many other things like new tools that have been released to assist us in decreasing our editing time.
