
Joe Brady
Joe Brady is a full-time professional photographer, educator, author, photo workshop leader and studio owner. One of his great joys is to see photographers in his classes have that “Ah-Hah!” moment leading them to capture beautiful images consistently. Joe represents many industry leaders and is an X-Rite Coloratti, a Nissin FlashMaster, a Fotopro Ambassador, an author on lynda.com, and holds both Master of Photography and Photographic Craftsman Degrees from the Professional Photographers of America.
As a producer and presenter, Joe creates and delivers educational videos for photo and audio industry companies. This includes Nissin, Hensel, X-Rite, Sekonic, Novoflex, Rokinon, Ilford, FotoPro, Tascam, Zoom, Saramonic and others totaling over 3.5 million views to date. A recipient of the Fuji Masterpiece Award for his landscape photography, Joe teaches photography workshops around the world, specializing in scenic and panoramic landscapes and environmental, location and studio portrait photography.

Description: Easy and Beautiful 1-light portraits. This class will demonstrate how to create beautiful portraits using just one off-camera flash, and one reflector. We’ll recommend the small amount of gear needed to create a “Portable Studio” that
you can set up anywhere. A simple flash, a light shaper and a reflector will provide everything we need to produce professional results!
Techniques covered will include lens selection, posing, creating mood, light placement and control, and direction of the light and light shapers. We will also discuss how to master exposure using both automatic and manual control of the light. You will be amazed what can be produced with these simple tools!
