CONTEST RULES & GUIDELINES
Who can enter?
Anyone 17 or under (at the time the photo was taken) may enter, with a parent’s or guardian’s permission.
What kind of photos can be entered?
Submit your best original bird, wildlife or nature photographs. Images must be taken in Florida by the person submitting between April 18, 2022 and April 18, 2023. Submissions should not have been previously published nor have been any level of winner in a previous photo contest. Images shared on social media are okay.
How are photos entered?
Select your original nature photograph and size it properly – at least 3000 pixels (or 10" at 300 pixels/inch) tall or wide, in jpg format and rgb or srgb color space. We accept black and white and color images. The filename for each image must include the photographer’s name. Do not embed frames, embellishments, watermarks, logos or your name to the images, they will be disqualified.
How much does it cost?
There is a $10 entry fee for the first two (2) entries. Each additional entry costs $5. No more than 5 images may be submitted.
Where will the winning photos be displayed?
Images will be shared after the contest deadline on Florida's Birding & Photo Fest Facebook page.
Contest winners will be announced at the close of our Friday Keynote Reception on April 21st.
